FRP forehead rest NL PureI’m really disappointed in the fit and finish of this product. It does not slide fully into the binoculars, leaving a noticeable gap, and there is no audible or tactile “click” to indicate that it’s properly seated. While this may seem like a small detail, at this price point I expected better design refinement and a more secure, precise fit.
It works perfectly and helps you aim calmly, but the swivel function could be tighter. Unfortunately, the click function when setting it up is not as perfect as everything else; it did not click when setting it up and did not go all the way down, so I am unsure about the water resistance with the headrest on.
The FRP "headrest" for the NL Pure binoculars I purchased was a pleasant surprise because of the stabilization it gives to vision-the 12x42 is not super light, which helps to have a fairly "still" view, but the "headrest" markedly improves freehand observation.
Works good on my 8x42 pures. Could be a little more secure.
