The VPA 2 must be fixed to the binoculars or spotting scope with a corresponding clamp adapter. The matching clamp adapters for binoculars or spotting scopes are available separately:

CA-B clamp adapter for binoculars (CL Companion)/BTX
CA-S clamp adapter for ATX/STX, AT/ST Balance, AT Endura, ATC/STC, ATS/STS, STR
VPA 2 variable phone adapterBecause my adapter has a tough time fitting on my older scope, my phone slips around while I’m trying to get the adapter set on the eye piece. This makes it a little more difficult to manage. My iPhone 16 plus is a little heavy and doesn’t stay in place too well. Once I get everything set up it works good, but the time it takes is concerning because sometimes there isn’t much time in a real time situation. Jesse
Very easy to use. Paired with CA-S Clamp makes taking pictures with iPhone exceptionally easy.
Equipment fit perfectly to spotting scope and easy setup. Grad I went with Swarovski equipment.
Once set up its a pretty quick method of attaching a phone to a spotter or binos. A bit pricey, but same consistent attachment makes it worth the price.
