What to consider when choosing your riflescope

Light transmission

This describes the amount of visible light that can pass through an optical system and is expressed as a percentage. The objective lens diameter specifies how much light can enter the optics. This makes it a key factor in an instrument’s performance, for example, in twilight. The bigger the objective lens diameter, the more light the objective lens can capture. The darker the surroundings, the larger the objective lens diameter needs to be. Check the precise product name as the number after the ‘x’ specifies the objective lens diameter in millimeters. A device with a suffix of 2-16x50, for example, has an objective lens with a diameter of 50 mm.

Ultimate performance. Perfectly designed.

The optical performance and the very good mechanics are always a reason for me to buy the Swarovski brand. However, it is just as important that production and development take place in Austria. A relocation abroad would most probably lead me to look for another brand. I also have fond memories of the customer service. It's just a shame that I've had to make use of it several times over the last 20 years. I would hate to call myself a "fan", but a loyal customer who is convinced by the product. And I am happy to share my experiences when asked. The Z8i is my first of the series and has replaced a 56 Z6i. I don't see much less in the twilight with the small 42s than with the 42. In terms of night vision technology, I don't really need the thick tubes any more, even though I still use another 56 Z6i.

Because after zeroing the rifle scope - the black point near the mark was appear. This is a factory defect. But now not possible to fix it, because borders are closed.

I'm very sorry to have to justify the purchase of this eyewear as it has been sent back to you due to a malfunction, given the price, which is not normal.
