"Every observation becomes a revelation, every moment an unforgettable experience. Let’s allow ourselves to be deeply moved by our experiences and feel that we are at one with the world around us. Then we feel a sense of love for all living creatures, which instinctively makes us seek to protect nature and preserve biodiversity."#fortheloveofnature

THE WONDERS OF NATURE WATCHING

FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS

What makes nature watching so fascinating? Is it the fact that we have to concentrate totally on one thing? Or is it because one special sighting can turn any moment into an unforgettable experience? Or simply that we are constantly immersed in the beauty of nature? Whatever our motivation, the intensity of every sighting depends on the quality of our visual perception.

Illegal hunting and the increasing destruction of natural habitat are endangering puma numbers

Six different subspecies of puma are distributed throughout North and South America. In the past, they inhabited almost every area of America, but their numbers have now declined sharply. This is mainly due to illegal hunting and the increasing destruction of their natural habitat. Total numbers are estimated at below 50,000. According to current estimates, there are still 60 to 100 pumas in the Torres del Paine National Park.

Essential for all life on earth

In the beginning there was the light

Many impressive and spectacular aspects of the “mystery of light” are revealed in nature: sunsets, the Northern Lights, rainbows, and mirages have always held us in their thrall. Wilhelm Swarovski was particularly fascinated by the light emitted by stars.
