Brian Sullivan tested our 115-mm objective module

bigger, brighter, better

The first words out of my mouth when looking through the 115-mm objective module were simply: "This is going to change everything about distance birding!". Switching from the 95-mm to the 115-mm objective module in the field was like going from night to day.

Everything about the 115-mm is bigger, brighter, and better. The combination of having such a wide and bright field of view coupled with an amazing depth of field, well... the 115-mm objective module is simply going to redefine the distance birding experience for many birders. Thanks to Bruce Webb and Steve Abbott for coming down to Monterey and giving me the opportunity to look through the new 115-mm objective module.

I can't stress enough how critical the long depth of field is for this kind of birding. Not having to adjust the focus all the time to see birds clearly from the middle distance to the horizon is a game-changer.
