Rare but rising in Europe, this eastern species can even hybridize with our common honey buzzard. Learn how to separate the two - and how to recognize a possible hybrid.

Experience a digiscoping workshop with Jörg Kretzschmar at the Falsterbo Birdshow
Hands-on digiscoping workshop including:
Introduction to digiscoping and useful technical skills
Capture your own images using spotting scopes and binoculars
Enhance your photography skills and gain new ideas for capturing your images
Opportunity to get answers to your questions about photography and digiscoping

The Workshop is open to everyone – nature-loving beginners as well as experienced digiscopers. You can bring your own spotting scope and tripod, or borrow a set from SWAROVSKI OPTIK on-site. There are five loan scopes available on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum 20 participants. You can pre-register at the SWAROVSKI OPTIK booth or register on-site, subject to availability. The workshop will last about 2 hours – please dress according to the weather. The workshop is completely free and starts from the SWAROVSKI OPTIK booth.

As part of our service, we offer complimentary cleaning of your SWAROVSKI OPTIK binoculars or spotting scope during the fair – including minor adjustments and small part replacements. Make sure your optics are in perfect condition for the birding season.
