Working hours: Mo-Thu 07:00 – 16:10 and fridays 07:00 – 11:40

Option of Matura qualification and overseas internships
Apprentice’s pay in accordance with collective agreement:
- Year 1: EUR 900,00 / Year 2: EUR 1.090,00
- Year 3: EUR 1.425,00 / Year 4: EUR 1.870,00

Duties
Herstellung von feinoptischen Komponenten wie Linsen, Prismen, Keilplatten und Spiegeln
Producing precision optical components such as lenses, prisms, wedge plates, and mirrors
Finishing glass components both by hand and with the aid of modern computer numerical control (CNC)
Inspection and quality assurance of fine optics components down to the nanometer range
Assembly, adjustment, and maintenance of our unique binoculars, spotting scopes, and rifle scopes

3 ½-year apprenticeship
Duties
Finishing precision mechanical parts and components such as casings for binoculars, frames for lenses, and spotting scope bodies
Manual and computer-controlled processing of a range of metals by turning, milling, drilling and filing
Learning to use CNC technology, CAD drawing, and mechanical processes
Learning basic skills in electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
