At the heart of our business – people

Corporate responsibility at SWAROVSKI OPTIK is also taken seriously when it comes to staff. The working culture is based on tolerance and appreciation. All members of the SWAROVSKI OPTIK family promote a culture of openness, trust, and respect for the dignity of each individual. The goal is to build sustainable, long-term relationships based on mutual respect.

The company invests more than average to ensure employee satisfaction and health. Measures include a company kindergarten (Optik`s Wichtelwald, established in 2008), a canteen serving nutritious food from regional and seasonal ingredients, plus a wide range of initiatives to promote health and fitness (sport sessions, cooking courses, presentations on healthy eating, mindfulness training, a company doctor). Securing jobs on a long-term basis is a core element of the company’s strategy.

It is important to SWAROVSKI OPTIK to support families and children and to promote a family-work balance. Therefore, in 2008 the company kindergarten “OptikS Wichtelwald” opened its doors on the initiative of Carina Schiestl-Swarovski. In this company kindergarten the children are looked after by committed, highly qualified staff, allowing them to enjoy a carefree childhood in the expansive premises, while their parents go off to their work, right beside them, with peace of mind.

We are particularly proud of the ‘wichtelwald’ company kindergarten that we opened in 2008. it’s hard to describe how enriching it is to have children with us in the company.THOMAS SALLER, Member of the Board, FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION
