New SWAROVSKI OPTIK tripod packages for a firm footing

August 17 2018

Two new tripod combinations from SWAROVSKI OPTIK ensure you have the right kit for every situation. The CCT compact carbon tripod and the new CTH compact tripod head are ideal for on-the-go use, while the PCT professional carbon tripod and PTH professional tripod head are perfect for extended observation and challenging situations. The new products are now available from specialist retailers and online at

With two top-quality carbon tripods and two tripod heads, SWAROVSKI OPTIK ensures your comfort when using a spotting scope, binoculars, or when digiscoping.
Made of 6-layer carbon, the legs of the CCT and PCT tripods are extremely stable but very lightweight. To compensate for uneven ground, the legs can be individually adjusted in three positions. One twist is all it takes to open up the individual sections and extend the telescopic legs. The center column can also be weighed down, for example with a backpack, so that it is even more stable in strong winds.
The clamps on the new CTH compact tripod head and PTH professional tripod head are conveniently positioned for quick and easy handling.

For active use: Traveling and hiking with the CCT/CTH

The new combination of CCT compact carbon tripod and CTH compact tripod head is designed for people who need a stable tripod set that is intuitive to use, lightweight, and easy to carry when traveling or hiking. Two detachable shoulder pads make the set even more comfortable to carry around.
Weighing just 1.68 kg (3.7 lbs), the CCT compact carbon tripod has a detachable center column, making it so small and compact that it can easily be stowed in a carry-on bag. When it is extended it provides a comfortable viewing position.
The new CTH compact tripod head is equipped with an Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release mechanism. This means it is always easy to set up your SWAROVSKI OPTIK spotting scope – quickly, precisely, and securely. The counter-balance system also prevents the equipment from tipping backward or forward, even if it is not locked. The integrated fluid bearing ensures smooth, even movements.

For sustained use: Extensive observation with the PCT/PTH

The combination of PCT professional carbon tripod and PTH professional tripod head is designed to withstand the elements. This tripod unit offers maximum stability and comfort for long hours of observation and professional digiscoping with camera and spotting scope.
Like its compact “brother” the CTH, the PTH professional tripod head features an Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release mechanism. The PTH also has a fluid bearing that can be switched on and off. When it is switched on, it ensures smooth, even movements when observing and filming. When it is switched off you can follow fast-moving objects, which is vital when digiscoping, filming, or taking photos.
