SWAROVSKI OPTIK ballistic turret now available for two more Z6 models

SWAROVSKI OPTIK has chosen to equip two more models from its successful Z6 rifle scope series with a ballistic tower in light of increasing interest. This feature allows hunters to "stay on the spot" when sighting at various distances. Hunters can individually select, effortlessly set and then easily readjust the required distances.

Since the product was first unveiled in 2007, SWAROVSKI OPTIK has created eight different Z6 models for discerning hunters. This successful rifle scope series with its 6 x zoom offers the hunter a field of view that is up to 50 percent larger, a magnification range that is up to 50 percent higher and an eye relief distance that is up to 50 percent longer. These characteristics make the Z6 rifle scopes suitable for a wide range of applications and the perfect companion for almost any hunting situation.

These SWAROVSKI OPTIK rifle scope models are available in a range of versions with different illumination, reticle and SR rail features. Until recently, it was possible to purchase the four high-magnification rifle scopes in the Z6 series with a ballistics turret. Due to sustained demand, the company has added two more Z6 models to its range of rifle scopes available with a ballistics turret. As of January 2010, it will also be possible to fit the Z6(i) 1.7-10x42 and the Z6(i) 2-12x50 with a ballistics turret. The Ballistic Turret can also be retrofitted to existing models.

Individual settings for any range

An accurate aiming point is a prerequisite for precise long-range shots. The SWAROVSKI OPTIK turret enables you to "stay on the spot" when sighting in at different distances. However, as every hunter has different requirements, SWAROVSKI OPTIK focused closely during the development phase on enabling the desired distances to be selected individually, set effortlessly and then readjusted.

The ballistic turret can be mounted by the hunter in a few simple steps. A specially developed ballistics programme calculates the required values (number of clicks) for the desired distances.
