The following ballistic programs from Swarovski Optik provide the hunter with accurate long range shooting solutions.
The “Distance Reticle” program supports our long range reticles. You can easily determine the downrange meter/yardage values for every bar or dot aiming point of the reticle. The “Ballistic Turret” program allows the shooter to set 4 individual downrange distances with scopes equipped with a BT turret; a zero or sight in setting plus 3 more downrange distances of your choosing, used in conjunction with standard type reticles.
We would like to remind you that the ballistic programs are helpful tools for long range shots, but you still have to evaluate any given situation (effective cartridge distance, wind, atmospheric conditions, etc.) and you are ultimately responsible for the final shot. The use of a laser rangefinder is highly recommended for the most accurate measurement of distance to the target. The right equipment, together with practiced techniques that inspire confidence is the basis for success.
The individual programs are free of charge and may be downloaded for offline use if necessary. Every program has a help button for menu navigation and an explanation of the entry values required in each case.
